Here at River City, we are not trying to emulate or compete with the white-water rafting outfitters of the New River Gorge. That is a bucket-list adventure we encourage everyone to do at some point, and we support those folks bringing world class white water to the world here in our little slice of heaven.

Our stretch of the Greenbrier River is a tranquil and placid stretch, more of a lazy river float, great for a half-day float for families and vacationers. It also is a deeper section, meaning we won't have low-water problems like many other outfitters; we can tube all summer here! And it doesn't take a whole day, nor does it cost hundreds of dollars. We offer packages that combine a kayak or a half-day tube float with a bike rental, for instance, which is a great option for added adventure and savings.

All equipment rentals can be used at Ronceverte Island Park, taken with you, or delivered to your vacation rental. Where you use it is up to you.
